The Gallivant present five different bedroom categories:

• Snug Garden - Weathered timber walls contrasting with soft furnishings in warm golds and ocean blues. A wet room completes the cabin feel, lined in Welsh slate with a custom marble vanity, feature mirror and pristine nickel fittings. Inspired by Scandinavian beach cabins, this bedroom will whisk you away to a happier place. With good wardrobe space, fitted larder and drinks chiller, it’s a cosy bolt hole to return to after a long day on the beach.
• Baby Hampton - Calming colours and considered design with feature oak panelling behind a sensational king bed, contrasting marble and brass detailing and beamed ceiling. Fitted bespoke wardrobe, larder and drinks chiller provides plenty of storage for longer stays and the super comfortable window sofa is the perfect place for an afternoon nap or to finally finish that book. The pristine white marble bathroom with bespoke vanity, bathtub and monsoon shower above, is fitted with a window through to the bedroom that can be left open or shut. Peek A Boo!
• Garden - The bathroom has a large walk in shower and feature tiles. Dark oak floors throughout contrast with a pristine white beamed ceiling. Enjoy the inside outside lifestyle of staying by the sea, lazing on a supremely comfortable bed, French doors open to the coastal garden. • Large Hampton - Light filled bedroom with feature headboard and wall in warm oak. Pristine white ceiling beams and beautiful detailing in soft blues make this room feel very open, fresh and relaxing. With lots of wardrobe space, larder, drinks chiller and larger bathroom, this home from home is ideal for longer breaks by the sea. Access to the coastal garden is at the end of the guest corridor. The day bed can be converted into a small double bed.
• Luxury Garden - The largest rooms with large sliding doors opening onto a large roll top bathtub, marble vanity and monsoon shower. Light fills the space as it opens to the coastal garden. French doors open into the coastal garden where your own teak furniture sits on a private deck. Dive onto an enormous bed set into a ‘library’ wall and enjoy the truly unique bathroom with a sliding wall that opens to reveal a deep, freestanding bath to maximise the natural light and sea air. Perfect for longer escapes, it has large built in wardrobes, a stone top bar, drinks chiller, larder and coffee machine.

• With a choice of indoor and outdoor dining spaces that offer a variety of environments. From the more formal to something casual and very much coastal chic. In the warmer months the eco coastal gardens are a glorious setting for an alfresco lunch
• The private dining rooms and spaces can be hired for groups from ten up to eighty.

Facilities

• Daily Yoga Classes which are held within the beautiful studio, The Open Space. In the warmer months when the weather is kind, practice moves into the dunes for wild yoga overlooking the beach
• Mindful Walks
• The Bamford Cabin is set in a peaceful corner of the coastal garden. It is a deeply relaxing, serene space inspired by the coastal location. The amazing therapists are individually trained by the Bamford Spa team to deliver the ultimate experience
• Drinks in the dunes: Watching the sun set over the beach whilst enjoying your favourite drink should be on everyone’s bucket list. Enjoy The Gallivants signature cocktails or chilled English wine packed beach ready to go with beach blanket, glasses and ice

Catering 

• All dining & catering is provided by the superb in house team 
• Nico and his team prepare and cook food with a genuine love and respect for the ingredients, it’s food you want to eat, when you want to eat it. 
• Located within the heart of English wine country, the hotel boasts more English wines than anywhere in the UK. The team also mix up a pretty good cocktail too, which like their wines, can be enjoyed in the dunes overlooking the beach.

• Licensed by the East Sussex Registry Office to hold both marriages and civil ceremonies within the Garden Room or the outdoor Terrace so you can choose your preferred location.
• Picture perfect views - The expansive beach and rolling dunes, create an unbeatable setting to capture extraordinary images on your special day. While your friends and family enjoy a drink or two, it’s the perfect time to sneak away with your photographer to snap some memorable moments on the beach. Any time of the year, you’ll capture beautiful photos you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
• The Terrace - Connecting the Dining Room to the Summer House, the Terrace is licensed for outdoor ceremonies as well as being the perfect sheltered spot for outdoor drinks receptions. The festoon lit area is furnished with beautiful cushions, blankets and lanterns to keep you cosy whatever the weather.
• The Summer House - Lined completely in natural woods this is a wonderfully calming space. It is light and airy in the summer, yet warm and snug in the winter. Perfect for any colour palette or theme (seats up to 80 guests).
• The Garden Room - This space is like an Orangery, full of natural light with direct access to the Terrace, the perfect place to host your wedding ceremony. It’s also the ideal dance floor for you to party the night away after your wedding feast (seats up to 80 guests).
• After your ceremony, you and your guests can celebrate in style! Enjoy drinks and canapes served in your location of choice: Within the dunes of Camber Sands, on the outdoor Terrace, within the Coastal Ecological Garden or within the cosy Sitting Room.

• Unfortunately not suitable – The entire Hotel is ground however, access to the lounge and restaurant is possible but our bedrooms and outside areas are not accessible via wheelchair
