Exclusive use 

• Candacraig is a stunning, exclusive-use, luxury Highland estate, where exceptional hospitality is complemented by a remarkable setting, and where the atmosphere is always private, warm and welcoming. Exclusive use means guests have the entire property to themselves therefore we recommend groups of 4 or more are suitable.
• Candacraig’s resident House Manager will be on hand to assist throughout your stay along with a full housekeeping and catering staff. A butler service for larger events adds a classic touch to those sublime moments of enjoyment.
• A true Scottish experience would not be complete without indulging the passion for great Highland hospitality. With our magnificent family kitchen and spectacular Dining Room, we offer a unique private chef and full staff to present the finest cuisine, sourced from the freshest local ingredients from across Scotland.

Accommodation at Candacraig

Candacraig bedrooms are as unique and elegant as the property they reside in, ranging from impressive corner suites to cosy double rooms. 
Sitting on two floors, with easy access staircases and a common layout connecting them all, complementing a real sense of belonging to a historic household. 
Every bedroom comes complete with immaculate furnishings, renovated decor and modern bathrooms, complete with Aesop toiletries.

• Forbes: Large, spacious superking room with ensuite (alternatively, this room can be split into twin beds)
• Fraser: Superking room with 4 poster bed and stunning views, private adjacent bathroom 
• Russell: Bright double bedroom with ensuite 
• Grant: Lovely corner superking room with large ensuite
• Gunn (Master Bedroom): A spacious superking bedroom with ensuite
• Innes: Large top floor double bedroom with ensuite featuring a free standing bath 
• Macduff & MacAlister: Adjoining double rooms with private bathrooms or shared bathroom to suit families 
• MacGregor: Luxurious top floor king bedroom, with ensuite bathroom and free standing bath
• Wallace: Large, spacious superking room with ensuite (alternatively, this room can be split into twin beds) 
• Upper & Lower Chalet: There are two further double ensuite rooms available in a chalet directly adjacent to the house 

Catering

• Candacraig is hired on a fully catered basis 
• Chefs: We have worked with the same chefs for many years and highly recommend their services
• Menus: All menus are tailored to each client requirement and can include full Scottish breakfast, lunch or picnic on the hill and dinner. Prices start from £120 per person per day. Soft drinks, water, tea/coffee, biscuits and fruit are complimentary and available all day 
• Extras: All in-house fine wine and champagne list is available. Spirits and mixers can be organised. Guests are welcome to ship wines and spirits ahead of the event at no corkage fee

Whisky Library 

• Through many years of collecting, our whisky library provides a leading selection of single malts and Scottish gins.
• Explore the nearby distilleries of The Glenlivet or Royal Lochnagar, or venture slightly farther afield to Speyside and visit distilleries such as The Macallan, Aberlour, Strathisla, Ben Riach, Glenfiddich to name a few. Host your own private whisky (or gin) tasting with our expert whisky tutor.

Dining room 

• Candacraig’s exceptional Highland hospitality deserves an exceptional space in which to enjoy it. Our sumptuously presented dining room offers the focus for a unique dining experience. Enjoy the pleasures of a luxurious candle-lit banquet, or simply relax with a wonderful meal shared with family.
• Our stunning dining room offers seating for up to thirty two guests, framed by luxurious tartan décor, setting the perfect scene to enjoy the wonders of Scotland’s highly-prized produce. A private chef and discreet staff is on hand, freeing our guests to simply sit back and enjoy the wonders of the exceptional local cuisine.

Drawing room 

• The opulent Drawing Room at Candacraig presents grandiose 17th century luxury at the heart of our wonderful private residence. Guests can relax beneath the elegantly decorated plaster ceiling, surrounded by the exceptional wood panelled walls that give the Drawing Room such a wonderfully unique character.
• This immaculately presented room truly is a striking space to share, with bookshelves lining the walls and the open hearth offering the warmth and relaxation of a log fire. The Drawing Room is a room to fall in love with, where guests can unwind in the quiet by the fire place or enjoy a lively ceilidh band and a dance.

Games room 

• Candacraig’s Games Room is the ideal setting to unwind. Challenge friends or family to a game on our billiards table, or relax with the comfort of a novel by the crackle of the open fire.
• The Games Room offers a relaxing space for all our guests, whether they are enjoying the pleasures of a long-anticipated family holiday or taking time to appreciate a leisurely moment in the midst of a high-powered corporate retreat. 

Walled Garden

• Candacraig’s historic and tranquil 3 acre Victorian walled garden is at the heart of our remarkable eighteen acre private estate.
• It offers the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the fresh, crisp Highland air surrounded by the soft breath of nature. Stroll the perfectly maintained hedge-lined paths or prepare yourself for a challenge with our giant chess set. Whatever the day brings, the walled garden offers a private outdoor space for all our guests to unwind and enjoy the moments that make Candacraig such a unique venue.

• If you want to refresh and recharge once the business is done, our eighteen acres of pristine, exclusive-use estate include a private lochan, an immaculate Victorian walled garden, as well as extensive grounds for you to relax or take part in team building exercises. Thanks to our location in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, there’s no shortage of outdoor activities to invigorate the team, from world-class salmon or trout fishing and golf to exhilarating 4×4 off-roading.
