A note from the owner:
My love affair with Kalkan started 6 years ago after a recommendation from good friends who insisted that it was the perfect place for me and my 2 teenage daughters to relax on holiday. I immediately fell in love with the beauty of this small fishing village and surrounding areas with so much to visit and quickly became enchanted with the kindness, sincerity and generous nature of the people. Kalkan is now a major part
of our lives.
Villa Kismet was designed and built by one of the best developers in Kalkan. Being an interior designer/stylist myself, I was able to contribute a great deal to the interior and very much wanted to keep the feeling of light and space; all rooms are generous in size and I am delighted with the size of the pool. I wanted to furnish the villa in a Turkish way so not too English in style. I think it comes across as quite eclectic and people who stay there are always commenting on the decoration.
First and foremost Villa Kismet, which means “destiny”, is our Turkish “home”, it is not a commercial investment but a place we love and hope very much by letting others use it that they too will discover Kalkan and Turkey, and feel that Villa Kismet is their home away
from home.
