April 2013South Downs Barn is a stunning 19th century converted barn in a rural setting, just under 1 mile from the historic centre of Arundel, within walking distance along the River Arun, with breathtaking views of the Sussex downs, with private gardens over 2 acres, extensive paved courtyard overlooking heated indoor pool.
The accommodation is very spacious, overlooking an internal courtyard and surrounded by gardens with panoramic views of Arundel Castle and the South Downs.
The central barn, comprises of four bedrooms and has a huge open plan living area with a stunning wood burner inglenook fireplace, brand new kitchen/dining room and a spiral stair case up to a vaulted beamed mezzanine with stunning views across the valley. There is a courtyard overlooking the swimming pool and 2 acres of gardens.
There are three bedrooms, a kitchen/dining/lounge area on each side of the courtyard in two separate barns. With the use of all three barns, up to 20 people can be accommodated. All the bedrooms have quality linen, towels and Temple Spa toiletries provided.
South Downs Barn is perfect for a group who want to get together in beautiful surroundings, in luxury accommodation, with the bonus of a private indoor swimming pool.

South Downs Barn is a stunning converted barn, with a unique, relaxed aura, and is used regularly as a retreat venue, but is equally popular with extended families, and groups of friends, as an idyllic setting to get together, with secure enclosed courtyard areas, gardens, and the indoor pool for children. Our guests also appreciate the benefit of having three attached self-contained units for privacy, with the main barn large enough to entertain all together.
