Park House is a grand Victorian country manor house built between 1867 and 1869. As you draw into the drive flanked by ancient lime trees you catch a glimpse of the house in the distance. Rounding the final corner the sheer size and majesty of the house comes into view and the tranquillity and seclusion of the estate becomes clear.

It sits in 20 acres of terraced gardens, woodland and paddocks, with a magnificent drive and wonderful views down an oak avenue of the South Downs and Watership Down.

On entering the house, the elegant lobby leads directly into the fully galleried, 35’ high Grand Hall with a huge glazed atrium and working fireplace. This is the true heart of the house; a perfect space for entertaining and holding wedding receptions. Fully renovated and interior designed, the décor is both classical and elegant, with sumptuous furnishings and natural oak and limestone flooring throughout the ground floor. The house is beautifully proportioned with all of principal reception rooms and bedrooms accessed via the Grand Hall and landing.

Outside there is a large heated private pool, with a shallow end which is perfect for children. There is also a tennis court and trampoline. Large terraced lawns are great for family games of football or cricket, and with plenty of walks in the surrounding countryside it is a stunning location for a family gathering or celebratory weekend.
