Testimonials

"I just wanted to say thanks again for what was an absolutely cracking weekend. I can’t think how we could have had a better time or how the house could have been better suited to us and, more generally, to parties. We could not have hoped for more charming or hospitable hosts either. The fact that the sun shone down on the whole three days really was the icing on the cake. I can’t wait until we can come up with another excuse to come down. Hopefully it won’t be too long "

Edward Stag Weekend

"We stayed at the Manor House and Tudor Barn to celebrate our 50th birthdays with friends and family (32 of us) and so glad we did. The whole weekend surpassed expectations, it really was perfect from start to finish. Having the weekend catered was suggested to us and I have to say was the best decision as it totally took away any potential stress and made the experience just so incredibly relaxing for all. The food was gorgeous from a barbecue on arrival to a formal three course dinner on Saturday night. The staff were all fabulous. They were very professional and all our needs were anticipated and they could not have been more friendly and helpful, yet discrete and unobtrusive. Partying into the small hours and then waking to a cleared up house and a tasty cooked breakfast with locally sourced meats from prize winning butchers made it all the more of a treat. They even made sure the drinks fridge was full for our arrival. The kitchen was huge and well equipped we might have been able to cook for ourselves but being able to relax and enjoy every part of the beautiful estate was a much much better use of our time! Everyone left feeling they had a wonderful break from it all. It really was magical. We wold not have changed a thing. Lolita & Richard "
